Honey-Roasted Chex® Mix

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups Bugles® original flavor snacks
  • 1 cup small pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

    In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, snacks, pretzels and peanuts; set aside.

    In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave corn syrup, honey and butter uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until butter is melted and mixture is boiling. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.

    Microwave uncovered on High 4 minutes, stirring each minute, until mixture is well coated and glazed. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in airtight container.
